Garage Sale

We're having a garage sale on Saturday. I hate having garage sales, but the money is always nice and so is the getting rid of stuff. So, just in case any of you readers are the type to be out perusing garage sales on Saturday mornings, as I have been known to do, here's the details:

2 Family Yard Sale
Saturday only,
8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
8720 Massey Drive
in the Loviisa Farms subdivision off of Road 100
or easy access from Road 84, follow signs, map link here:

A Map to Us

Little Girls clothes from sizes 18 months up to size 5.
All priced between 50 cents and a $1. Great condition, nice brands.

All adult clothing priced at 50 cents.

Lots of kids books, toys and more!

Have any little girls who LOVE Dora the Explorer? We did, too. She's grown out of her love of all things Dora and now we're selling it all. A talking Princess Dora, talking friends Dora, Dora pop-up tent, Dora pillow, Dora clothes, Dora shoes, Dora slippers, Dora backpacks, Dora suitcase, even Dora underwear and more! All cheaply priced and ready to go!

Wooden bunk bed with extra sides so it can be made into two twin beds.
Mattresses and monkey boards not included. $75

Little Tykes red plastic wagon. $15

Two strollers in good condition. Snugli and other baby stuff, too.

Behind-the-seat bike carrier for small child in hardly used condition.

Lots more, too much to list.

So, if you're out and looking for some stuff at cheap prices, stop by and say hi. I made a bunch of homemade goodies for the girls so they can have a little table to sell stuff, too. They're so excited to sell homemade snickerdoodles, super yummy homemade cinnamon rolls and lemon pound cake slices.

Cool Shayla. I'll have to stop by sometime. Of course, I don't think I have any use for any little tykes or Dora stuff. :)

Although I might have some stuff to throw in a free pile or something.

Wow, that sounds like a really good garage sale! Who's the other family? We'll have to try and stop by, even just for the baked goods!

Sounds like fun! When my girls finally out grew Dora I was shocked to see how much stuff we had of her! Good luck with it!

Oh how I miss garage saling with you, Shayla!!! Garage sales up there are SOO much better than here. I wish we could come. I can picture all of the Dora stuff...that doesn't seem all that long ago! I remember pretending to be "Boots" and "Dora" hiking through the jungle on some adventure while we played Disc Golf with Kenzie. I can't believe your girls have outgrown it all. I hope everything went well for you today!!!!

OK so it is 9:30 Saturday night...I'm guessing Im a bit late! Did you sell much? DId you haul everything off to goodwill? If you didn't get rid of the bunkbeds, bike carrier, books or wagon I would love to buy them. If so I hope you made lots of money and I am soooo bummed I am just now seeing this.

Hope it all went well! I would have loved some books for the preschool and some homemade treats! I can just picture Kenzie and Natie sitting at their little table selling some goodies. Your little girls are so cute.

I hope your garage sale went well. Isn't it the best feeling to get unwanted stuff off your hands!

The kitchen set is 140. Not bad compared to the Pottery Barn set! We are having a yard sale this weekend. I will be glad to get rid of stuff!

Sorry Amy! We sold all of those things. Brenda, I'd have given you the rest of the girl clothes we had left, but most of it was really picked through so we took it all to the goodwill right after the garage sale. We didn't make a TON of money, but $150ish was worth the time. AND we DID get rid of lots of stuff cluttering our garage, which was the ultimate goal. The girls had great fun selling goodies, but admittedly I gave away more than I sold. :-) Amber, all that Dora stuff sold within the first ten minutes! I was shocked, I guess Dora is still hot in the preschool/toddler crowd. :-) I can't believe my girls have outgrown it either.

This is obviously not going to be about the yard sale but I just had to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your page. I usually am a little overwhelmed by the super 'cutesy' ones out there and I also have this thing about thinking that my background page shouldn't clash with the pics that I post so I've never really seen one that I love...Until now! I am totally coveting your page. For real. It's killing me. Not to mention the fantastic font...

How fun! Hopefully your kids aren't like mine when we have a sale. I have one that tries to price things for 3X the original cost and one that can't bear to see stuff go. He's like those really bad people on "Clean House" who try to sneak crapola back into the house!
