I’ve been building quick “Homes For Sale by Owner” sites for years now. There’s a huge gap in the online community for people wanting to sell their homes by owner. The MLS for Realtors is a gigantic advertising platform that practically does all the foot-work that was once considered a realtor’s job. This online presence isn’t easily found for those wanting to sell on their own. Besides Craigslist or putting an advert in the local newspaper or Nickel ads, a home owner has little options open to putting his home on the internet to be seen. So, I started building sites for people who were trying to sell their homes themselves. And it worked! Like, really, really worked! I provide a domain name that reflects the owners home address, hosting for that website, a clean and easy to view site that gives as little or as much information as the seller wants to show, even a full-fledged photo gallery, a contact form, a map and more. I also design a similar look-and-feel Craigslist ad that the owner can easily copy and paste into the Craigslist ads to move potential buyers in the right direction…to the website…then the home for sale. I also include a full-color and black and white flyer for the owner to display on their front lawn For Sale sign. Typically, I can turn a site around in less than a day and for usually only $100. Almost every home I’ve advertised this way was sold in less than a few weeks time. It’s worth every penny!
